3. HOW INTRODUCTIONS WORK
When Tended facilitates an introduction, limited profile information may be shared between families and caregivers to support alignment.
Contact information is shared only when appropriate to move conversations forward.
4. BACKGROUND CHECK INFORMATION
Background checks are coordinated through Tended prior to placement and completed through a trusted third-party screening provider.
Screening occurs only with caregiver consent. Tended does not control the accuracy of third-party reports.
5. PAYMENT INFORMATION
Payments are processed through secure third-party providers such as Stripe.
Tended does not store full credit card information.
6. COMMUNICATION SUPPORT SESSIONS
Information shared during communication coaching or facilitated conversations is treated with care and discretion.
Coaching and facilitated conversations are not therapy or legal mediation services.
Sessions are not recorded unless participants explicitly agree in advance.
Sessions may be guided by Natalia Mottau, facilitated jointly with Nikki Schaubel, or scheduled directly with Nikki depending on the needs of the conversation.
7. CAREGIVER SCREENING STANDARDS
Caregivers introduced through Tended:
• provide at least one verified professional reference
• complete a background check through a trusted third-party provider prior to placement
• hold current CPR certification or complete certification prior to their first day of employment
These screening standards help families begin placements with clarity and confidence.
8. HOW INFORMATION IS STORED
We take reasonable steps to protect your information using:

trusted service providers
No internet transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. HOW LONG INFORMATION IS KEPT
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to:
